Just upgrade to an intel 6200 on my Y580, anything I can/need to do to optimize my wireless setting?

Hi everyone! I'm a happy y580 owner since October, only thing bugging me is wifi. Have been reading on this forum and find out the intel 2200 that comes with the laptop is very…well disappointing. So after hours of Googling, I find out that I can change the wireless card. So I bravely buy a 6200 on ebay for 10$, and just install it in my laptop today. My download speed and speedtest.net double but I can see the speed in wireless setting fluctuates. Is there anything I can do to about it?
    thx in.advance!

It's something that happens when the signal gets too weak or there's too much interference.
You can try changing a channel on your router, moving to 5GHz if your router supports it or changing the location of the router.

change your router channel or go to roaming aggressiveness and change it to lowest setting (device manager -> 6200 > properties).
