Ya I have the same computer and it came with the wireless N card right? Well what I did in order to get the most out of what I payed for got a dlink DIR 655. It has wireless N draft and is the best router I have ever had. Setting it up is as easy as running the CD or using provided static IP for manual setup which takes a bit more knowledge. NOTE: MAKE SURE AND UPGRADE FIRMWARE! Takes care of dropping wan issues. Good luck!

lol it looks like we're pretty much in the same boat.

i ordered my m1530 on 6/11 and it should be here 7/11.

but i went with the linksys WRT350n. i haven't had a chance to test out any wireless-n connections yet, but everythin seems to be workin fine with my older laptop (wireless-g). only thing i hate so far is the factory firmware. everytime i disconnect the router, i have to go back into the ip page and reset all my settings back to default. then mess around with it a bit so my computers can pick up the router again. i'm really lookin into DD-WRT right now.

Ya Ive had the same problem with linksys routers. The trick is to use third party firmware, it is way better than the factory firmware. Try finding other firmware, this page might help....

You have Netgear, Linksys, D-Link and other routers, they all can give you Ethernet and Wireless connection so you can access Internet or communicate among other computers arranged as a network at home, but check first with your ISP, they might give you a free router. Also, you will need a wireless adapter in your computers, I have the Intel 4965AGN, it works very well.

Check the sticker above on this forum for instructions to how setup your wireless network and many other tips.
