    okay..

    could i have a wireless TV tuner?
    for example, sit in my bedroom and watch tv on my laptop while my tv is in the living room switched off?

    could i watch and record SKY?

    SlingBox? I believe that would work but the tv needs to be on. There was a review just done by Brain so check the front oage or the review forum. :)

    slingbox is exactly what you want. what are you talking about "wait a bit until the technology becomes a bit more advanced"? A buddy of mine uses his slingbox to watch american tv on his laptop when he goes to mexico. the other guy uses the slingbox to watch tv on his pda phone.

    the slingbox would work and its cheaper than any other setup I can think of. $200 no monthly fees.
