    Hi, so here's the background...

    I bought a T60 Thinkpad.
I used it for school and went abroad to Korea for summer vacation.
Then the clock stopped working properly. I searched online and many told me that the battery was out.. It keeps switching to random times..

I use wirless at home and suddenly, it loses connection every 20 minutes or so... Ok, I reconnect, but it keeps disconnecting in random intervals.

So I thought it was the router's problem so I lived with the problem for three months.

When I got back to college and actually used the ethernet cable to use the internet, it keeps disconnecting me again!

The clock still doesn't work as well. If I am actually using the internet (like websurfing), the disconnection becomes delayed. However, if I have an instant messenger on and nothing else going on, it seems to disconnect faster...

I know that the cable is not the problem because I have replaced it many times.. and I know that it's not the jack's problem because others did not have any problems with it..

    what could be the problem??

    thank you for reading!

Try turning off IPV6 for your network connection.
