    Hey all,

I have no lag problems when i play with wired internet but when i go wireless i sometimes have network lag issues. Its sporadic though it doesn't happen all the time...but it never happens with when the cable is plugged in. its happened on two different wireless internets ive tried (one at school one at home)

i have an intel 5100 wifi card, its 3 years old though, maybe time for a replacement?

Intel 5100 is not a good card. It's notorious for causing a lot of problems.
That said it doesn't have to be its fault.
Make sure that drivers are up to date and all power-saving options for Wi-Fi are disabled (both in Windows power profile and driver advanced settings)
