    Hello,

I try to find a thread like this but i haven't found. I'm driving crazy with my current internet connection which is not splitting the internet connection with the others computers, so when one person is downloading something, consumes all the connection.

There is any recommended router or software which could control this? We have connections wireless and ethernet.

    Thanks,

You'll need a router with QoS function. A cheap solution can be asus Wl-520Gu or their Wireless N alternatives. Those routers are very cheap and offers better signal than Linksys's famous WRT54G while offering the same reliability and performance.

Which brands of routers are the most reliables? I heard on Linksys but the asus sounds very good brand too.

I'm googling that function and router.

    Thanks,

The reliability of the router mainly depends on its chipset used and the firmware that has been loaded on the router.
