I have a Gateway NV59. I just moved into my apartment, I tried connecting to my new router; however, nothing would work. I tried both wifi and ethernet and nothing pops up. I called the internet provider thinking that it is something on their end and they ended up telling me that the drivers had been deleted on my laptop. I have no idea what to do from here. I am able to connect to the internet using my tablet. I have a flashdrive, so I am able to get the driver onto my laptop. I do not know what to download or how exactly to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The drivers depend on the hardware in your notebook and the operating system installed.

    Which OS?

    Which wireless card?

    Which Lan Card?

Open Device Manager if you're on a Windows OS>Network Adapter and see if there's a wireless card and a Lan card listed there.

Most common are Intel and Realtek wireless cards and Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller(Lan)

Go to station-drivers.com > drivers and search for the newest driver version for the hardware you have.

Naturally you'll need to do this on a computer that has Internet access and download the drivers.Save then on a USB flash drive so they can then be installed on your computer without Internet access.
