Does anyone know anything about internet 2? I know the gov't is developing a new internet. This is the reason. Each website is supplied with an IP address. as you know, the top IP address is "255" (If your good at math, then do this equation to find out how many websites you can have: 255 /\ 255, that's 255 to the 255th power). All I know is that we are running out of websites. So the gov't is making a new internet, so we can use both Numbers and Letters for your IP address, that way, it's practicly limitless. Does anyone know anything else?

    Thanks,
    L.L

And also, I think you need a little better understanding of how IP addressing works.

    IP address

The current Internet runs on IP V4, which has 2 to the 32nd power addresses, not 255 to the 255th power.

Even IP V6 only has 2 to the 128th power addresses available.
