I've just today reinstalled windows xp pro on my girlfriends pc. I now need to connect to her bt homehub which is connected to her pc by usb, this is plugged into the usb-b port on the bt homehub unit.
Can anybody tell me what to do now?

Probably install drivers if they don't automatically install. Maybe install the bluetooth software so you can pair with devices.
-
All the drivers for it seem to be installed. I need help finding my way around more than anything, I'm not used to using wired internet since i have a laptop myself (this is a desktop) and that is usually a case of just sticking a cd in the drive.
Its all connected up, Ive installed the software and drivers using the bt homehub disk provided but it hasnt helped at all
and ive done many many google searches
im probably just being a spaz, so someone, if you can help, you might wanna take me back to basics -

Thank you.
Now, who can help -
Have you gone to the BT Homehub website? It looks like they explain how to install and operate this thing.

I've followed all of bt's lousy instructions and used the installation cd provided. All this seems to do is let bt install all its crap and then give me a message saying "bt homehub not detected, would you like to launch bt desktop help manager" when previously in the program it said it has detected an internet connection

I don't want to discourage you, but bt homehub is nothing but trouble, I have read a lot about it, and 99% of people are disappointed and complaining that it either it works intermittently or not at all.
-
Haha don't worry, I'm not discouraged, but the trouble is its not my internet or router.
-
That's correct, is your bt homehum, get rid of it
