I'm trying to figure out which wireless card I should get for the Vostro 1500 that I'm going to buy. Right now I have it for the "Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card". There is also the "IntelJ PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Wi-Fi Mini Card", but that's an extra $40. My question is... is the Intel card worth the extra $40?

Save the money. I just bought 4965 agn for $33 plus shipping from neutronexpress. It's easy to upgrade yourself later on any laptop.
