    Hey everyone. i just got my HP dv9700t with a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection in the mail and was curious as to what kind of router should i get which would give me optimal speed, without draining every last cent from my bank account. please help as i am totally lost on the whole router issue. Thanks! :wideeyed:

    depends on what u need it to do? if u want a router that does g and N then you need a dual band router if you only want N then you just need an N router also if it is N do u want the best or mid grade? mid grade should get you 130 mbps the best will get you up too 300mbps

    I run a wrt300n linsys and it works fine...very stable and great range and high signal strength...

    Buy a Linksys router. For optimal results (especially with the draft N specification) you should use the same manufacturer for all pieces of the wireless network. Visit the Linksys website and do a little research - you'll find compatible routers.
