    EDIT:this driver will install successfully if you have the non supported AC-7260 in your notebook but it will not show in device manager as 16.7.0.Device Manager will stay as 16.6.0.8.It will show up in Control Panel>Programs and Features as 16.7.0

    Also the AC_7260 performance is better on my rig with 16.6.0.8.

    This new driver,16.7.0 brought larger fluctuations in connection speed back that were much better in 16.6.0.8.

    IMO,if you are using an AC-7260 stick with 16.6.0.8

    Missing from the list of supported cards in the Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 16.7.0 drivers is the AC7260,N-7260 and the Ultimate N 6300

    The 6300 is listed as supported on the Windows 8.0 driver download page only
