    Hi everyone,

I was searching this forum for a thread regarding Intel's WiDi 2.0 and couldn't find one so I started this.

I bought a new Toshiba R835-P55 with WiDi 2.0 and the new Netgear Push2TV adapter (P2TV2000) and have been playing around with it.

Have any of you tried WiDi 2.0? Till now I am not fully happy with it. Initially I used to have lots of issues with it and my connection would be dropped within a minute of connecting. In the Intel forum one of the guys asked me to checked my Intel My Wifi utility and I found that the adapter was blocked. Once I 'allow' the adapter, it works for sometime but after 20-45mins, my connection gets dropped and when I check Intel My Wifi, my adapter is again blocked. I need to do this every time I connect. And again, my connection is never stable. I have made sure I have updated the graphics drivers, Wifi drivers and WiDi software.

Another thing I noticed was that my Wifi internet speed drops when I connect to WiDi (I used another laptop to check the internet speed while this laptop was connected to WiDi). It dropped from about 23Mbps to 15Mbps, which is quite significant. Is this a know problem?

Any ideas how to fix these issues?

    Thanks
