    Intel Proset Wireless 3945 issues

My wireless internet has been fine for the first 2 months since getting my notebook. However, about a week ago it seemed to crap out for no apparent reason. The icon goes yellow in my taskbar, but says that the device has been turned off. I tried to turn it on by all means that I know and nothing. It seems as if it froze. Im not sure why this would be happening. I checked the wireless event viewer and it said "CTA plugin not installed or supported" No clue what this means at all..

The Intel wireless works fine after a restart, and generally works fine, but this seems to be happening almost on a daily basis now.

Any ideas on what might be wrong and how I could possibly fix it?

    Any advice would be great...thanks!

It could be that your network adapter is in a power optimised mode. So after a while, it will just turn itself off. Check if it is a power optimisation mode by going to Control Panel and double clicking Network Connections. Then right click your network adapter, and select properties. After that, select Configure under the General tab. Select the Advanced tab. The box under property should display what mode the device is under. If it says somethine like "Power Management", then that may be the problem. If that is the case, then change it to "Ad Hoc Channel". Hope this helps.
