I have the latest drivers, but I noticed real quick that I had ping issues while in game. I saw a few threads and noticed alot of people changed the wireless mode to 802.11g but then in 2142 I experienced a "There is a problem with your connection." I'm not sure if it was the server, but it did run alot smoother compared to the previous option it had on default. What am I asking for is, Is there anyone out there thats knows which options are best to choose under the advanced tab for gaming.

Make sure you are not too far from you router and that you are not downloading anything in the background or anything that may use your internet connection.

Take a look at event viewer it may give you an ideal of what is going on. And if so you can start trouble shooting from there.

check your lease times in the router. set to max. Some can be set as low as 30 min.
