    I had to reinstall vista operating system on my vostro 1500. everything is fine but my Intel Pro Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Mini-PCI Card EUR stopped working. Switch is on but there is no blue light. who can help?

    check BIOS setting for wireless card, make sure it's "Enabled"

    Lol. Getting into the BIOS is the same regardless of the OS.

    Did you install the driver for the wifi adapter?

    when starting the notebook on DELL logo loading, press F2, you'll get into the BIOS setting.
    navigate down to the wireless device setting

    if it's already enabled then in Vista go to device manager and see if there is Network adapters > wifi 3945 ..
    or post a screenshot here

    Hi, thank you very much, sorted, wireless device setting (in BIOS) was not enabled
