    Hi all,

Can you help me out with this issue?

Dell Latitude D610 running Windows XP Pro service pack 2
    Norton Internet Security 2006

Which wireless client should I use for the internal Intel card?

Windows client or the Intel PROSet? and then should I disable the one I end up not using?

Right now I can see many wireless networks but cannot connect to any of them - the ones that are unsecured that is...

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

You should probably use Intel PROSet, since it's made to work specifically with that chip. If you turn it on, it'll take care of the Windows client on its own, so don't disable it.

Which ever one you like best and more comfortable using. You just should not have both loaded at the same time.

I had one mfg client driver that connected to anything open, and NO way to prevent it. So it got the boot.

I use the MS one and uninstalled Intel's. The Intel programs seemed to have slightly better range, but it uses a ton of resources with the 7-8 processes that it runs.
