    Hi,
I've got an Asus laptop (model A71V) and I'm using the Intel 2915ABG wireless card. My issue is that as of lately my wireless connections have become very unstable, to the point where sometimes I will lose connection altogether every 5 minutes or so. I'm using the Intel PROset/wireless software so windows zero config is not running. I don't believe that this is being caused by any external interference because my roomate uses the exact same laptop as I do with the same wireless card, drivers, software, etc, and his connection is always very stable with few issues. I've gone into the wireless event viewer and every so often it gives me a warning that says "CTA plugin is not installed or supported" followed by a "CTA plugin will be unloaded because we found an unsupported adapter." My driver is 9.0.4.13 and my intel software version is 10.1.1.3. Anyway, not sure what other information to give but I hope someone has some clue what's happening here.
    Thanks.

I had that problem before...maybe you got the wireless device auto shut down in order to save power...

You might need to have a look at the setting of your divice...

You guys 'may' want to check your card's 'device properties' in the device manager.

There are settings there regarding power savings and low power modes.

You can manually set the card not to go into a low power state, as well as tell it to always keep your wireless signal at a maximum.
