How is the Intel's adapters :

    Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
    Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200
    Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205

compared with the alfa's adapters :

    AWUS036H
    AWUS036NH

with regard to the range aspect ?

    Thank you in advance

Alfa should be better but there's a catch.
Signal has to go both ways- while your Alfa will be able to reach the router at greater range than Intel would have, the router or AP i question will not have enough power on its own to send the signal back- router/AP doesn't have high power radio to transmit back.
So unless this is a custom setup with either high power radio or special antennas (or both) you still may not be able to connect.

I don't see how the alpha adapters are comparable to the intel ones since the intel cards are mini PCI express and alpha adapters are USB based.

Interface doesn't affect range in any way so it's irrelevant.

So tell us more such as how far away from the router you loose the ability to pickup the signal. Also tell us how much further you need it to transmit. There is equipment that will work for what you need. There is allot of it and different ways to achieve the end.

    Thank you for the answers.
Can someone tell me if he can connect with alfa's adapters to an AP
that don't even appear at intel's adapters setups ?

Not necessarily- what your adapter "sees" has nothing to do with transmit power but has a lot to do with antenna gain.
We don't know what's the signal strength of those APs that are not showing with Intel card so it's impossible to say if certain antenna gain will or will not be enough to improve that with alpha.
