    Hey guys I just got a new XMG C404 laptop with Intel 7260 card and it keeps disconnecting and giving me problems (i updated to latest drivers). Is there another good dual band card I can purchase? Thanks.

    2.4GHz band or 5GHz? If you have a dual band router use 5GHz band with this card.

    @Invention

    I have no experience with your notebook but have had disconnects with driver versions 17.1.0 and 17.12.0.4

    Do you get disconnects while browsing/gaming or just when coming out of sleep/idle?

    How far from the router?

    Are you in line of sight with the router or are you going through walls and floors?

    Windows 8.1 Update 2 or different OS?

    Take a look at this post and see if the suggestions help any.

    You may also want to try driver version 17.0.6 instead of the newest versions.

    Check your Control Panel>Power Options settings.

    I have an AC-7260 in 2 MSI notebooks and in a self built desktop.
