Having severe issues with the intel 7260 wireless card in my razer blade 14 (2015). The latest drivers that ended the 60 page thread arent helping. Im getting 1-4megabits (not bytes) per second down with stutters and lockups, and 5-10megabits per second up on N band (dont have an AC router).

Is there some other card this can be replaced with that will perform at speed on N band?

    Which OS are you using?
    What router and band?
Did you try changing the channel?
How far are you from the router?

Windows 10 - 2 different routers, one G and one N. Phones and other laptops perform far better in the same places. Yes ive tried manually changing channels after using... i forgot the name of it but the android app that lets you visualise network strength and channel congestion. This happens both near and ~20ft from the routers.

Also seems to be effected severely by even having bluetooth enabled.
Any idea on different cards to try? One that works at speed and doesnt die even further with bluetooth on?

    what driver are you using?

This is the latest driver, standalone INF without the Intel Bloatware that causes issues

Uninstall the Intel PRO/SET app then reboot

then manually update the driver from device manager:

Intel Wireless Driver WLAN v19.20.3.4 / BT Driver v19.11.1639

Is it mini-PCI Express socket or M.2?

Tried the PROSET-less driver, didnt help. The card is mini PCIe

1.6down and 0.08 up on an N band network, which i immediately tested with a Galaxy Note 4 beside it after, which got 9.59 down and 3.38 up

Intel 6230 would be cheap, easy to get and should be OK.

    If so, go for 6235.

if you have 3 internal antennas, go for intel 6300, just picked up 3 on ebay for 6$ a piece. It's one of the best wifi cards out there, even still today.

It does not have Bluetooth though and that seems to be a requirement here.

Got the new card installed and it works amazingly... when it works at all.. It disconnects every 20 or so min and i cant load any pages and windows network diagnostics rarely finds an issue. Only fix is to turn wifi off and back on again. I just tried a windows reset but had a foreboding issue setting up the MS account OH GOD WHY it just happened again as i tried to post this ><

That makes it less likely to be a problem with the card and more with something else about the notebook.
Can you stop using Bluetooth for time-being and see if the problem persists with BT off?

That is definitely not related to the card though.
Either network setting, firewall router or ISP but not the card. As far as the Wi-Fi card is concerned these are all just packets.

If you can be bothered, make a bootable USB thumb-drive with Ubuntu and boot from it. See if these issues persist there.

If it works on Ubuntu, it's not a hardware matter at all. Some sort of software or a setting would be to blame.

Didn't get the time to try linux... but now with the new card it will stop being connected to the internet, and the wifi econ wont do it's caution sign thing and windows diagnostics wont find anything, but no website or game can be connected until turning wifi off and back on...

Ive already tried int reset and winsock reset and flush dns commands.

Any ideas what causes it?..At this point its looking like i need to just buy a new computer again ><
