    Intel 5300 versus 4965, and 4965 versus Atheros?

    I wonder which is more: the degree that 5300 is better than 4965, or the degree that 4965 is better than Atheros?

    5300 supposed to be superior than 4965 or maybe any other wireless card in the market, as it's currently the only one which can do 3x3 spatial streams. Don't know if there is any other brand which has the same capability product out in the market.

    If comparing with Atheros, you'd have to be more specific which Atheros card do you refer.

    Really depends on what the router or whats on the other end. If the router chipset is atheros, broadcom, intel(same manufacturer).....best is to match the adapter to the router..
