I've had this issue for a while, where my connection seems to dissapear and when I choose connect to a network, there are none detected, also the wifi catcher doesn't detect any. If I look under device manager for the wfi, it says there is no driver. I've tried to update drivers but my only option is to do a restart and it's all back to normal. any help would be appreciated.

Try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it again. (make sure to download the driver from dell's website first.)

When reinstalling the driver, wait for vista to reinstall the driver by itself first, then run the dell installer.

Also, do you have dell quickset installed?

Make sure the card is fully seated in the socket. If it has a bad connection it may lot be working or show up in device manager. If your have hidden SSID try setting it so it shows up.
