HI all - had to restore my HP DV2000T from recovery disks, when I did both my LAN1 and WLAN connections only appear to be working outbound. This is my set up LINKSYS WRTG54L (WAP) and LINKSYS BEFSX41 (VPN end point, DHCP server, connects to BELLSOUTH via PPOE) and then a WESTELL a-90 "wirespeed" modem in pass through mode. The issue is - I can ping outside address (ie www.yahoo.com) but, IE and Netscape will not open a web page just churns.. I can see the transaction in my outbound log on the BEFSX41 and the DV2000 connects to WRTG54L with no problems. Just can not get a web page to load.. I can log in to either LINKSYS admin console with DV2000 and I have accessed a share for a laptop on the same network from DV2000T.

This is what I have tried with no luck:

    - Installed\updated every version of the 3945 driver available from HP site - no change
    - Installed INTEL PRO SET software - no change
    - Restored from Recovery disks (just in case) - no change
    - checked IE settings
    - unistalled Norton

To recap - the same DV2000t used to work fine with same hadware set up prior to restore, I have 2 other laptops (DV1000 and COMPAQ Evo) on same network no issues. The DV2000t can resolve DNS names via PING, can ping external and internal addresses, can access shares on local network, can access external shares on VPN tunnel, but can not display web pages in either IE or Netscape - just displays .. web site found waiting for reply...

    Any help is greatly appreacited..
