    Intel 2915 'Personal Authentication failed'?

Every so often I get an 'error in connection process' balloon popping up and asking me to click on the troubleshooter. When I do that it says that my 'personal authentication failed' and asks me to re-enter my password. I never have to actually re-enter it though, as it usually reconnects by itself before I have chance to and the troubleshooter changes to report no connection problems [ :(!]

Also, fairly regularly the connection will just stop responding (although the Intel utility doesn't report a loss of signal - in fact it's rare that it drops below 54.0 Mbps) and I have to turn the wirless off and then back on to get it working again.

    Anyone any ideas?

Funny thing is it seems to have good and bad days - today for example has been a PITA, but other days I can use it all day and not have a single issue. Anyone got any ideas? I'm using both the latest drivers for the wireless and the latest firmware for the router (although it's a Motorola one that I'm rapidly concluding is a piece of crap).

I'm thinking about just replacing the router - what's the most stable combination of router and 2915 wireless?

Hope someone can help - thanks if you can!

Well, no one's replied, but here's a quick update that might help out anyone having problems with this card...

I switched from the Intel PROSET connection tool to the Microsoft client, and ever since then my connection has been solid, rather than dropping about once an hour.
