    Hi,
I am using Alienware m17x R4 with Intel Centrino 2230 card and TP-Link WR340G router.
My pingtest test shows 220ms ping with 47ms jitter.
I mainly play BF4 and Fifa online. Sometimes there is a sudden ping instability and the game shuts down due to high ping.
    1. Should I change with wifi card or my router or my isp?
    2. If the answer is wifi card or router, then any suggestions?

    Thanks is Advance.

Check the ping when connected to the router via an Ethernet cable - that will remove one variable.
Judging by the device you're on a DSL connection - what soft of line speed and connection parameters are you looking at (line attenuation, SNR etc.)?

The 2230 is a capable card but old now.. I would get a 7260.. But first try an Ethernet cable and see how it goes..
