I just got a new 9400 yesterday. well while i was at my sisters it worked, it has the built in wireless card. well im at my house now and it cant connect. I have wireless internet but it says it cant find a connection. what is going on? and I also tried having the USB from the wireless piece connected and it still doesnt work. but the wireless works on my other computer.

Sounds like you either have SSID broadcast disabled on the router or you have security enabled. It's your router - how do you have your network configured?

How is your wireless network setup? Is the signal hidden or broadcasted. If your 9400 wireless card is working but can't find your wireless router signal it might be hidden and you'll need to go into its security setting using your other comp and change it to allow your 9400 to find it and sign in. I presume your wireless is encrypted so you'll need to set that up on your notebook as well.
