    Ok - i've searched for info on this subject. Would you be able to clarify for me, what i need to get online without cables please? It has Centrino obviously, so does that mean i do not need a card?

    I have a desktop which runs through a BT Voyager 100 ADSL Modem and wish that to stay as it is, but i want the ability to run wireless for my laptop from the same connection. Therefore, do i just need a router? :budget:

    You just need a router and that connects to your computer and you can be wireless. I suggest checking out my wireless guide for lots of information on wireless.
