Am borrowing a 5 yr old Inspiration. Think model is 1250.
Has windows os but has no internet connection capabilities.

What would be my options for having connection ability? $$
Just want to be able to access internet, send email, and download pic's. while on vacation.

Guy doesn't care what I do with it.
    Thank's in advance.
    Craig.

Don't have it in front of me(at work), but thought it was inspiration.
Looked it up on web and said it was replaced by 525.
    If that helps.
    Craig. :)

    Is it from Dell?

Can you provide us the link to where you looked it up on the web?

    Yes it's a Dell.
May have had it wrong and it is an inspiron.
Could give more info in AM.
Thought options would be pretty much the
same from notebook-notebook as to the question
    I have.
    Guess not.
    Thank's again.
    Craig. ;)

We need more information - do you have access to a wifi hotspot while on vacation? If so, you need a wifi adapter. If that laptop doesn't have wifi, you need to buy a USB or PCMCIA wifi adapter.

If you have access to dial-up, and you don't have a built in modem, you need to buy a USB or PCMCIA modem.

If you need to use a mobile company's broadband connection (Cingular/ATT, Verizon, etc), you have to get an account with your cell phone company and purchase their broadband card.
