ok i have this huge problem.

Everytime me and my cousin use the computers simultaneously, my ping in Counter Strike source sky-rockets to about 200ms which is VERY BAD.

I have a really good internet connection but whenever he downloads stuff, it slows me down by ALOT. This isnt quite normal because i have a

    100 mbps connection...sometimes flucuates to like 65...

But the point is, i should be able to be gaming while he downloads some stuff.

    Can anyone help fix this?

Use QoS if your router supports it, and have it throttle all p2p traffic, incl. bittorrent traffic...

Run a constant ping when he is not on and then let him come on and not any changes in the times.

Do the same but opposite with you off and him running the constant ping and then you log on and see if his pings change.

If you're hosting the game you should try port forwarding. What kind of router are you using?

Worked for me on some older game (like AoE3 :D )

you also need to realize that you are saturating a circuit and that when that happens latency is possible.
