Can anyone provide me with a list of ISPs in the Southeastern Pennsylvania (Philly suburbs) area which provide residential broadband? I am in particular looking for any company that is NOT Comcast or Verizon. Anyone know of any?

Well whoever your local cable provider is, seems like Comcast, and whoever Verizon lets use their pipes. It is truly sad, but monopolies not only exist, but are very strong in this country. The phone and cable providers are 2 of them.

Possibly Satellite, although I would avoid that if I had cable or DSL available.

Also, if you are getting broadband for a Cel phone, I think you can use it on your laptop, but not sure how cost effective this is.
