    my internet explorer always displays a piece of the background .. how can i fix this problem .. pleassse help ..

    Hmm do you have any 3rd party toolbars enabled? Try right clicking just below where you enter the url and see if there's any there. Uncheck if this is the case.

    Yep that's what I meant. The defaults are menu bar, links and status bar. Anything other than that can go.

    Another thing you can try if the above does not work:

    Go to tools and then internet options. Click advanced and then click the reset button near the bottom of that window. Take note of the warning dialogue that comes up, it tells you what is going to be reset and what isn't. If you're prepared to reset then click the reset button in that window.
