I noticed that Vista no long support Firewire networking. Does that mean I there is official no method to setup Computer to Computer network or file sharing/transfer via firewire? Are there other 3rd party software or method I could do that?

You have several other options. The use of a crossover cable (network 10/100/1000), USB crossover, and your std network file sharing. Or you can go back to the tennis shoe express with a USB memory stick.

I use NAS's that way I do not have to deal with file sharing on the pc.
