    Hi there

I use Safari Beta 4.0 (or whatever version is the latest Safari) as my main internet browser, but I have IE7 installed as well since I need from time to time to connect to my university website (some pop-up thingy is needed, x, irrelevant).

The thing is that today I opened my IE7 in order to run the CAN YOU RUN IT? software, due to it not working on Safari (and I do not like Firefox) and my homepage on all browsers is always Google, since it is faster to load, and I am always "googling" stuff out. It has been opened for about half and hour and Google is still not loaded, not even the "thinking" circle is there.

I also tried to load NBR, systemrequirementlabs.com, google, and none of them would load. IE7 is not even reacting to anything, F5 does nothing, ESC does nothing, reload button does nothing, ENTER does nothing, nothing works.

Can someone help me understand what has gone wrong with my IE7? Is Safari 4 causing problems (would be first time ever, I have had Safari for 2 years along with IE and it has never stopped working).

    My running system:
    Dell Vostro 1000 series
AMD Sempron 3600+ @ 2.0GHz Single Cored CPU
ATI Radeon Xpress Series IGP 1250 with 256MB
    2GB RAM at 667MHz
    120GB 5400RPM HDD
    Dell 1390 Wireless Mini-Card Rev. 4.4
    Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

Anyone has any idea on this? Please help! I really need IE7 to run.

    Hi serg89,
Try disabling some add-ons by going to: Tools-> Manage Add-ons-> Enable or Disable Add-ons
I found disabling SSV HelperClass was helpful to me but in your case may be different Add-on. Good Luck.
