I'm trying to do ICS. I have a wireless N USB Card that I'm trying to share the connection of wired. Internet comes in through card and out through ethernet to another NIC. For some reason The computer (connected to the 1st via ethernet) Doesn't get a internet connection. I reversed the computers roles and it still didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? I've even tried bridging the connections. The connection establishes fine over ethernet, but no internet.

The second computer probably never gets valid IP address. What OS is it running? Are you using static IP or trying to connect with dhcp?
The second computer IP must be in the same subnet as the server. When you enable ICS the server probably gets 192.168.0.1 with mask 255.255.255.0 so the second should have IP 192.168.0.x with the same mask. -

The "host" has a static ip and the other is assigned an IP by host. The host is 192.168.1.1 and the client is 192.168.1.2 (2 is sometimes changed) the subnet mask is the same on both. Running windows 7

Well for what ever reason it decided to fix itself today. I didn't change anything and it worked fine. Must have a been a Win 7 glitch in one of the systems.
