I saw the following on the Customize page of IBM Thinkpad T510 and I did not see any explanation ... did Not have a Help Me decide button ...

Can someone explain the Major Difference between the Options below and which is needed to cover my basis for Wireless use ... Strongest Reception ... I am trying to help a friend with her Purchase.

A wireless card must be selected to connect to a wireless network.

Agreed- that's the best one (unless you need WiMAX)

    good answers...so why?
I think the OP was looking for a bit of information on which to make a decision not just biases or preferences.
What makes the 6300 better than the 1000?

I know but I just didn't feel like copy-pasting Intel products descriptions and certificates from Wi-Fi org. He can find that on his own and if he doesn't know what does something mean- I'd rather answer that than write a tutorial entitled "what constitutes a good wireless card"

BTW- 6300 vs. 1000 Wi-Fi Org tests- 6300 is faster (spatial streams) and does work in 5GHz band.

simple answer- if your usage has scope for wimax, go for option C, else option B
