    G'day

Can someone please tell me y I can still play bf2 online with a ping of 50 nd no lag, although im capped from 1.5mps to 56kps.

I am experienced slowness in loading web pages and ive looked at my account with my provider nd it says ive used up my limit..... so im obviously capped.

bf2 doesnt require that much bandwidth. I play bf2 and CSS even when im capped to 64kbps and i still get a ping of 25.

As a matter of fact i get better ping when im capped.

By the end of the month I always get capped for going over the download limit but even on small band I can still play online games like CoD4, ET:QW online without lag.

    Hi.

Sound like you need to change your broadband provided!

I can download as much as i want asl long as i avoid large downloads between 6pm and 11pm or they will start to throttle my line.

    Regards

    John.

These games only need to send packets over the net, which are only pretty much instructions. You dont expect that you have to download every second of the game you play? Cuz all of that is already in the games' program files.

You all have download limits? That's crazy.
