    I need wireless Drivers for Acer Extensa 4420-5910

    I have a Acer Extensa 4420-5910 i have tried all drivers on acer's website and none work: Atheros neither Broadcomm someone please HELP !!!!

    What internal wifi is installed in your Acer?

    Yes knowing make of WLAN card does help to narrow it down to what driver you need :p

    Atheros most likely.

    I keep a heap of drivers for various chipsets over here

    I dont know what is installed in my Acer but it has a sticker on that says Signal-up wireless

    In which country did you buy the laptop? Have you looked at your invoice? The invoice should list which card is in your laptop? Or, you can remove the cover over the wifi card and read the model number.

    Right click on 'My Computer'
    Properties
    Device Manager
    Then open Network Adaptor (as piccy below)

    WinXP may differ slightly, but you get the idea

    Tell us what you see

    Or if the device in yellow with no name click on it and go to 'details' and tell us the PCI_ID
    We can use it to to find out what you have.

    you should be able to tell by looking at the bottom of your laptop, most will have the FCC information on the adapter installed (or at least, the manufacturer).
