Hi, I have windows vista and I some problems with it.
First, I get disconnected around every 10 mins. There was a post on how to solve it but i'm not sure how to do it.
Also, everytime I try to run Gunbound (it's an online videogame) I keep getting an error that says something like:
"unable to find 3d video card or video card isn't updated"
I have no idea how to fix this problem, I tried posting that on it's official forums but they can't help me with those kinds of problems.
It would be really nice if someone can help me.
Thanks

Disconnected. Do you use a router? If not then who is your ISP, wired or wireless, name and/or brand of network card>
Video Card. See http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=64910
Chaz is definitely the man when it comes to the video cards. -
Yes I do use a router but i don't think my router is the reason why I disconnect. I had another laptop before I bought this one, I used the same router and I didn't have problems like what I have with this.
Also, thanks for the link but i'm afraid to do anything after reading the restrictions of which laptops it would only work on. (I have no idea what my video card is lol) -
Not knowing what your video card isn't an "lol", it's almost certainly why the game won't start. Get some info on your laptop and video card, and post it back here, and we might be able to help.

Check your video card drivers. I highly doubt any recently bought notebook cannot run that game.
Anyway I would try disabling Wireless Zero Config via regedit if you are using wireless. For wired I dont know though you can try reinstalling the drivers on your notebook. -
my video card is ATI Radeon Xpress 1150. Also I don't know what Wireless Zero Config is.
Here are the rest of the info. if it matters:
Chip Type: ATI Radeon Xpress Series (0x5975)
DAC Type: Internal DAC (400MHz)
Adapter String: ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 -

I didnt see Wireless Zero Config even has an option in Vista, At least i couldnt find it anywhere.

vista wiresless zero config:
. administrative tools -> services
. 2 entries (only ONE under XP): Wired AutoConfig Properties & WLAN AutoConfig Properties
. enable/disable them as needed
I personally would not mess with these entries, if one is using a router, just make sure that the model in question does support vista, or just turn off any wep/mac set up to ensure a solid wireless connection
ati-X1150 latest vista driver available:
as Pitabred mentioned above, a full system specs would be helpful for us amateur to assist in diagnostic and ideas
as lixuelai mentioned above, it could be that the integrated card is not up to par performance for the game in question
cheers ...
