I have recently bought a laptop, and i'm a complete noob about it, can someone explain these things to me? XD

    What is the difference between:
    10/100 or 10/100/1000 Base-T wired Ethernet card - and - a 802.11g wireless card
    and a
    Built-in 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet LAN with RJ-45 connector; V.90 high-speed modem

Also, does every laptop now have connection to the internet?

    Thanks, much appreciated.

10/100 refers to the speed of your Ethernet card with 1000 being the fastest. The modem is if you plan to use a dial-up connection. Yes all laptops have means to make a network connection.
