    hey,
Thanks everyone for viewing this post and trying to help me with my problem. I just can't find any logic in it.
And here is my problem. I have a laptop with wirelles connection and for the last couple of days i am having trouble connecting it to my home router. And even when i get connected my speed is slowing down and it dies soon. The wierd part is that i use the same laptop at my work and at my girlfriends house and wirelles is working with no problems. And my father's laptop is working at home with no problems also. I tried everything that i thought would help. I reset my router yesterday and again, my father's laptop is working great, mine has trouble connecting and it loses speed very fast. I re-installed the drivers. No success. It was working great just a few days ago and i cannot think of doing anything to mess it up. I would understand if wirelles wouldn't work properly anywhere but it's working fine everywhere else. Also if i connect with cable at home its working fine.
Hope we can figure this out. Thanks for hleping.
    Have a nice day!!

Are you using your computer in the same room as your father? If not, try your computer there. Could there be another router in a nearby building which is broadcasting on the same channel? This was the cause of a problem in my house a couple of months ago. My son was getting frequent dropped connections but I had no problem. He was in a room nearer a neighbouring house. I moved the router to another channel and the problem went away, so try changing the channel on your router.

Also, is your access encrypted? Others may be free-riding your wireless signal. Make sure you do not have concurrent wireless controlling software running (i.e. Window's and Intel's). Another possibility is an interference source like a 2.4ghz cordless phone.

Thank you both for quick replies.
I brought my fathers laptop to my room where i have mine and his was working great. I had it there for hours when my friend was trying to fix mine and i had no problems. I will try changing the channel but i cannot do that now 'cause i am at work :)
I don't think I have concurrent wireless controlling software running and I am sure i dont have a 2.4ghz cordless phone.
As I said, it was working fine just a couple of days ago and I just cant remember doing anything to mess it up. I also used system restore, but with no success.

    Dear John Ratsey :)
I would like to thank you for posting your advise, because i changed my channel in router and now it is working great. It's unbeliavable. Yesterday me and my friend tried for hours trying to fix this problem and now I(you) fixed it in five seconds.
    Thanks again
