and im thinking that i might want a stronger router to boost the range and speed of the wireless...i have no problems with the current router...its just old thats all...just looking to upgrade my network a little. All the current adapters are a/b/g so N is not an option atm. So if there is a better router than the one i have now...suggestions would be welcome.

    try the linskys
i am using linsky WRT54GX it was about 120 when my old router broke, thought
    but price probably went down
and i hated di524, which i replaced because it's antennas broke and kept poked me and when downloading something, it stopped unless i keep track of it

I have a new HP LAptop dv6253cl which I am having difficulty wirelessly connecting to the internet with my D-link router DI 524. My OS is Vista Home Premium and my network has a host computer and 1 other computer. My network says I am connected but I can't share files or connect to the internet. I got no help from HP or D-Link-each says the other is the problem-Has anyone had a similar problem which they have solved?
