Hi my name is Holly and first i'd like to apologize if this is an inappropriate place to post!

Moving on, Last week i clicked the little little arrow by my notifications area in the task bar and right clicked my bluetooth icon and chose to "exit". (i forget why), it dissapeared and now for the life of me i can't seem to get it to return.

First thought was to search for bluetooth in my programs, found it immediately but when i click it nothing happens.

I've checked in device manager and can't see anything labeled bluetooth. i've gone to services and the status for bluetooth service and bluetooth support service are both "started".

Any thoughts guys? They'd be really appreciated!

Make sure you do not have a little switch on your laptop that can manually turn off networking like wifi or bluetooth. Also if your laptop has some OEM software that can do that (in the case of Asus my laptop it has the wireless control center)

With that step out of the way, if you just exited the program it should come back when you boot the computer up again, unless you just removed a shortcut to it. So its still there just not on the desktop. In your control panel you should have a "my bluetooth places" or some other bluetooth shortcut you can use to get into your bluetooth functions.

Also not a bad idea to install your bluetooth drivers again, if you tell us your laptop model we can point you to the place to download them from.
