    e2000 running DD-WRT.

I have two computers connected just fine, but my Sony Vaio VPCEC290X won't.

    It's in AN-Mixed, 5GHZ. It connects fine on a Mixed 2.4ghz.

    Atheros AR9285

Apparently I have to replace it. Any suggestions for a wireless card that'll play nice with N @ 5ghz?

That's because Atheros AR9285 only works on 2.4GHz band.
It's a piece of junk anyway (causes a lot of problems especially @ 802.11n) so you have a good reason to upgrade it.

Intel 6200 or 5300 is a good choice.

I don't know if BT in integrated in your current Wi-Fi card.
As for 5300 and 6200- 6200 is basically newer generation of 5300.
Both are good, both offer the same max speeds and driver support.

I have a separate driver for bluetooth if taht means anything.

I think I'll just get the 6200. It's cheaper on newegg.

Also, is it possible that the card won't "fit"

I got my laptop's warranty for free but I'd hate to void it and end up with a card that doesn't even fit into it lol

Make sure of the form factor of the card, mini vs half mini. Also ebay would be another venue to check they should be cheaper there. Also if it helps Dell doesnt even bother sending replacement 6200 cards they just upgrade them to 6300 cards ;)
