I need to access the internet on my notebook and I have no idea where to start. I set up a wireless network, and I can't access the internet on my notebook even though I'm connected to it. Under Network Connections, my laptop says I have an "Internet Gateway", and I don't know what to do. From time to time it will connect, but most of the time it says disconnected, when I try to connect it it just says connection failed. What do I need to do?

I had an issue recently, that my notebook connected to the router but not the internet. I was using WPA security and the driver on the note book did not support that. I updated the drive and everything works.

I read that guide and I am absolutely lost. I only have a router set up, do I need to set up a hub for my internet to work? This is so confusing.
