    How's my Internet Still Working?

    I'e disconnected my phone service, but somehow my internet is still going. How is this possible? I'm connected wired so i cant be connected wirelessly to someone else's connection.

    Do you have DSL through another provider or cable?

    If you're connected to your usual router that you just canceled the service on, then obviously it wasn't disconnected yet.

    DSL doesnt need working telephone service. It only needs the physical telephone line. I use DSL and Voip and dont have a telephone line.
    Watch out if you keep using it. The Provider might charge you per minute or some crap like that. Also they might reopen your contract saying that your dial in was an indication that you wanted a new contract. I have heared stories like that online. Not sure if its leagal.
