Just wondering what people's experiences are between wireless N routers that are not manufactured by Apple and their Macbook.

I remember reading last year that some people had problems - I am about to buy a wireless n router and will have a mix of apple and windows n capable based laptops connecting up.

Am leaning toward the Linksys WRT610 (dual band) or D-link DIR 655 (single band) gigabit lan solution

There's no need to get Apple's Airport Extreme, basically any major router will work fine!

My instinct would be to worry more about the Windows-based systems than the Mac systems; there's probably a bigger chance that a Windows-based system will be unable to work with an Apple-based router than that a Mac will be unable to work with a non-Apple-based router.
