I want to connect this router to another router. I want the Linksys WRT54GX4 to be for wifi only and my other router to controll the 10/100 network.

So what do I do? I have done this before and I'm pretty sure of what to do. But just for the hell of it I thought I would ask just to be sure.

    Thanks!

Basically, just don't have anything plugged into the Router. I have that now, but no other router, so it is still a router. But if you plug a router into the port on the back, then that first router becomes a AP. That is if the AP is built in onto the router, which nowadays, most are

If I dont setup the AP for DHCP, do I set it up as (static ip)/ If so will the AP then beable to hand out IPs via the main router?

If DHCP is off at the AP, the router will handle out IPs to all clients. I had it working with no problems for some time, until I turned DHCP off completely and moved to static IPs (faster and ensures fixed IPs for all clients).
