Well i have setup TightVNC on two computers on different network.

All the portforwarding and DYNDNS is setup. I ping to test connectivity on both ends and am able to ping. I use the name not IP to ping, eg: ping xxxxxx.homeip.net etc...

Now the problem is i can remote connect from PC A to PC B, but not vice versa. It happened like i did remote connect from PC B to PC A the first time, it started and then it got abruptly disconnected and cannot reconnect ever since. I disabled the firewalls on both PC and tried still same A->B ok but B->A not ok.

I have USR 9108 on one end and D-link on another.

I have checked for portforwarding setting and they are all ok.

    How can i troubleshoot it.

    Thanks
    MadEngineer

Have you tested to actually see if the port is open? There are sites that test to see what ports are open, Shieldsup is one. Some ISP's block ports knowing what open helps.

I recommend rebooting the router(s) then check to see if the ports are open.
