    How to transfer files from Desktop to Laptop?

    Can I transfer them from USB cable drag and drop (don't have cable but will order one if it works)?? Or do I need some special program?
    I heard you can do it through the router but I don't know how to set it up.

    Put them on the same workgroup and enable file sharing for the folder you want to share.
